This area serves the primary function of my site by providing a place for me to post my writing. For me to know what people think of the writing I need feedback, which can be posted here. Please, post even if you're going to criticize what I have or don't know what to think, and post as many times as you like about any of the writing.
Something like a horror story that I came up with at work the other day.
This is something of an excerpt from the new book. It's sloppy and I don't think it will go into the book as it is, but the general idea will stay the same.
After a week without writing, I did the same thing, producing another very short story.
I got the idea for this story this morning. I watched Elephant tonight, and now I know that this story isn't nearly as controversial as I'd thought at first. The school shooting idea... not original. Please read anyway.
Here's a new sample with a different character. I plan to base this book around two guys, and this will be the second guy, Dax.
This is a sample from the new novel I'm thinking about. A lot of it will be changed and I'm not sure if this will be the first chapter or what, but it'll give people some idea of the feel of the book.
This isn't exactly a story, but sort of. Thankfully it isn't true.
The Novel
In early 2003 I started getting an idea for a novel. I was really unmotivated at the time and didn't do anything until the summer of 2004. At that time I started writing it, but got stuck. In early 2005 I switched to writing by hand and it worked out much better for me. Here are a few sample chapters:
I wrote it today (July 6) and it's a little out of context but I'm happy with it so I'll post it. It shouldn't be too confusing, but there are a few things you'd have to have read about earlier to understand fully.

Here's a story I wrote the other day. I had the idea a long time ago but I put off writing it because I thought it was kind of trashy; I don't think it has a lot of greater meaning. I still think that's about right, but I wrote it anyway. Tell me what you think.
Here's a story I wrote about a year ago for a friend who was sick. I feared it too sentimental and possibly too sappy, but I have to deal with criticism eventually, so I'm going to post it now.
I wrote it on a whim after seeing a girl on the bus at school looking really sad. It's kind of weird I guess, but hey, I'm weird anyway, so I may as well post it.
